Distributed Station Terminal (DTU)

Product Description

The Distributed Station Terminal (DTU) is a core device for distribution network automation, adopting a decentralized architecture. It consists of bay units (installed inside switchgear) and a common unit (centralized management), which work together via a bus. It is mainly used in applications such as ring main units, switching stations, and distribution rooms on 10kV distribution lines.

The HXD320-DCU distribution automation common unit is responsible for collecting information from measurement and control units and communicating with the master station system to upload collected data.

The HXD320-CMU distribution automation bay unit performs measurement, protection, and control of switches, realizing distribution automation functions, and communicates with the HXD320-DCU management unit to upload collected data.
