LoRaWAN/Wi-SUN Local Gateway Networking Solution
Urban Roads & Smart Campuses & Ports & Municipal Districts
Edge gateways are deployed within the area, using Low-Power Wide-Area Network (LPWAN) technology to achieve seamless interconnection of street lighting devices. The gateway uplink connects directly to the cloud platform via fiber or 4G/5G links, building a highly stable, low-latency city-level IoT private network foundation.

Solution Highlights

Penetration in Complex Environments
The Wi-SUN solution eliminates signal blind spots caused by buildings and vegetation, provides self-healing network capabilities, and supports local edge linkage and multicast control.
Wide-Area, Cost-Effective Coverage
LoRaWAN addresses scattered, long-distance sites with a single gateway providing wide coverage, balancing infrastructure costs.Application Scenarios
Wi-SUN is designed for scenarios with building obstructions and dense vegetation, enabling multi-hop networking and self-healing, supporting millisecond-level local edge linkage, and ensuring zero communication blind spots in complex campus environments.
LoRaWAN star topology is specifically designed for municipal districts with sparsely distributed sites, large node spacing, and a lack of adjacent nodes for relaying. A single gateway provides coverage radius of up to 3–5 km, significantly reducing infrastructure investment and achieving the optimal balance between communication distance and construction cost.
