Product Description
The 10kV cable distribution cabinet without switch, commonly referred to as “American-style distribution cabinet” or “cable junction cabinet,” is a very simple cable connection and branching device. Its core function is to serve as a physical connection and insulation sealing point for multiple cables, without any switching, control, or protection capabilities. It is equivalent to a “terminal block” or “insulated socket assembly” for cables, providing an economical solution for flexible cable extension and branching in 10kV distribution networks.

Product Advantages
Pure connection function
Used solely for direct, permanent electrical connection of one or more incoming cables to multiple outgoing cables for power distribution. As a completely passive node, its operating status depends on the connected cables and upstream power source.
Fully insulated and fully shielded
All cable connection points are sealed in high-performance solid insulating materials (such as silicone rubber, EPDM) or insulating oil/gel, ensuring that live parts are not exposed, touch-safe, and reliable.
Cable T-junction
Branches can be conveniently tapped from the main cable without cutting it, using prefabricated separable connectors (commonly known as "T-head" or "elbow connectors") or piercing/bolted connectors.
No operating mechanism
There are no operable switches or circuit breakers inside the enclosure. If power outage is required, it must be performed at the upstream switchgear (e.g., ring main unit, substation).
Passive device
