Hexing Electrical signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Association of Mayors of Senegal (AMS) and MALAAJI SOLAR to jointly promote the development of solar electrification in local communities. The signing ceremony was held in Dakar, attended by representatives of multiple local governments.

This cooperation aims to equip municipalities in Senegal with green energy infrastructure, including solar power systems, water pumps, public lighting, and water supply solutions. Hexing will provide a full turnkey technical solution and solar products through its sub-brand LIVOLTEK.
The plan will focus on supporting agriculture, animal husbandry, healthcare, education, and public infrastructure, effectively driving Senegal’s sustainable development goals and green energy transition.
AMS Chairman Oumar Ba emphasized: “Expanding electricity coverage in remote areas is crucial, and solar energy will become the most effective solution.”
Liu Gaofeng, Vice President of Hexing Africa, stated: “This collaboration brings together the public sector, private enterprises, technological innovation, and local forces, aiming to truly serve communities and make the energy transition a reality. We will provide localized, sustainable, and affordable solar solutions, while conducting youth technical training, creating job opportunities, and comprehensively enhancing regional energy resilience.”
The project will also focus on technical capacity building, training local officials and youth groups to cultivate energy management professionals and create employment opportunities, thereby enhancing community-level energy autonomy and resilience.
