HEXING’s Single-Phase Automatic Recloser is an outdoor device. It combines a circuit breaker, protection relay, and automatic control. It works for 15.5 kV and 27 kV distribution lines. When a fault reaches the configured protection criteria, the device opens the circuit and then attempts to reclose according to the programmed sequence.
If the event was temporary and the fault has cleared, the supply can come back automatically. If the fault is permanent, the recloser completes the configured protection sequence and keeps the faulted circuit isolated.
